A young adult bear has been seen on the lower Zapata. He began showing up at Forrest Ketchin's home just after the 4th and at Joe Funk's this past weekend. He probably has wandered onto the Zapata because of the fire or for lack of food in higher elevations. Remember not to have any food or trash outside that is not bear proof. Report any sightings or incidents with bears to a member of the Board.
