The committee discussed website changes and development. A Request for Proposal was developed to give to possible web design groups. The committee would like to make the website more contemporary and incorporate a “members only” capability. The main purposes of the website would be to provide timely information for ZHA Homeowners, provide a way to have quick response to ZHA issues as they arise, and to provide an information site for the subdivision. The group also discussed the differences in purpose for the newsletter and the website. The newsletter is not a fast method for providing or receiving information. The website could be interactive and have a quicker turn around time. Communications Committee hopes to make website interactive for members to encourage input and provide quicker response to ZHA issues. Since this meeting, the committee reviewed the work of three possible web design groups and presented one group, Ethosmedia with an RFP. This information was then presented to the ZHA Board at the April 16 meeting. All Committees are asked to send copies of their meeting minutes to Carole Bieshaar at c.bieshaar@comcast.net so they can be included in the newsletter.
